Policies and Procedures
Booking a Party: We recommend you book 4 to 6 weeks in advance (8 to 10 weeks in the Winter). Reservations will be held for 4 days. To fully secure a date, we require a deposit of $25 (cash, personal check or money order). Please note all parties scheduled for Sundays will not begin until 2:00PM, Thank you.

The balance must be paid in full the day of the party (cash or personal checks). There is a $25 fee for any check that is returned or has non-sufficient funds (NSF)
Travel Fee: Party packages include roundtrip travel within a 30-mile radius from my home. A travel fee of $.60 per mile is charged for travel beyond this 30-mile zone. This charge is necessary to cover the extra gas, time and vehicle wear and tear. Mileage is determined via Map Quest (www.MapQuest.com).
Example mileage calculation:
Gillette to Newcastle is 82 miles. 82 miles - 30 miles = 52 miles extra x 2 = 104 miles round trip x $.60/mile = $62.40 travel fee.
Gratuities: Gratuities are not included in the package pricing, and are always greatly appreciated!
Attendance: Party packages include the Guest of Honor and seven (7) guests for a total of 8 children. You will be charged $10 for each additional child over 8. There is a maximum of 12 children per party.
Final Count and RSVP Policy: You'll need to provide a final count five (5) business days prior to the party. This will be the number used to plan the needed crafts, accessories, and food (if applicable). This final count includes the Guest of Honor. If a guest is included in the final count and does not attend, unfortunately we cannot provide a refund. Parents are welcome to stay, help and enjoy the party but they should not be included in the final count. In addition, we will not be able to accommodate unexpected guests/siblings. They will need to be supervised either by you or the child’s parent.
Cancellations and Refunds: Princess Parties will refund your deposit, minus a $10 cancellation fee, provided you cancel your reservation at least two weeks prior to the scheduled party date. If you cancel for any reason within two weeks of your party, your $25 deposit is non-refundable. If you need to reschedule, we will gladly work with you to determine an alternative party date, based on availability.
Liability for Damage: Our Princess Parties Hostess will treat your home with utmost respect, and provide professional service. Princess Parties assumes no responsibility or liability for accidents or damage caused by party guests. We appreciate your assurance to ensure that our assets are treated gently, carefully, and with respect. As the client, you will be held financially liable for any damage incurred to Princess Parties’ assets while we are on-site at your location.
Allergies and Special Diets: It is very important for you to inquire whether any of your party guests have a food allergy (peanut, wheat, dairy, just to name a few). If any of your party guests have food allergies, Princess Parties will do its best to be accommodating. Please notify us no later than four (4) business days prior to the party if special arrangements are necessary. If a guest has severe food allergies, we recommend that you or the child's parent provide an alternate treat for the child. Princess Parties is not responsible for allergic reactions or any other medical reaction stemming from the menu, wearing of costumes, or any activity taken place before, during and/or after the party. In the case of liability and/or financial remuneration due to the aforementioned, the responsibility lies strictly with the client.
